1. Wayne Kennoff

They talked about Joe being on Tony Hawk's podcast, but then at the end Joe says to Tony, "It was nice meeting you."

    2. caylyn111

      Super good talk

    3. ryan cottingham

Skateboarders see the world so differently, it's hard for me to drive sometimes because I'm looking at spots

    4. Bob

Tony Hawk has lived my dream, being a 90's kid forever. I have so much respect for this guy.

    5. Erick Vega

Paused to watch that Jake brown bail

    6. OldTimeGamerChannel

Those people who say that new-gen sports such as skating should not be allowed to Olympics, just because it is not "classical sport" should really consider the fact that 99% of sports started as some random kid game which evolved into multinational phenomenon.

    7. Pietro Sottile

      Check this out! @t

    10. Carl Cassidy

That board from when he was 17; I had one that style. They were awful compared to modern design 😂

    11. Daniel Rieger

If he ran for president, would he win? Do you think there is anyone who wouldn't like him? But running for president would change him, actually doesn't fit at all

    12. Matt Jones

    13. camshark182

They have changed the materials some boards are made out of. The Rodney Mullen Uberlite board has carbon fiber and a carbon foam core

    14. Yea Ok

Love this one. Tony hawk is such a legend

    15. Randy Savage

Thanks to tony hawk i had a childhood those Tony hawk games introduced me to skating thank you Tony eventhough i wanted to be like muska

    16. Dime Wash

Did Joe just say 350 days a year?

    17. Thomas Adkins

I am 54, and have been skateboarding for 40 years. Tony hawk is a god amongst men, and Roganis the best interviewer ever. These 2 discussing skateboarding..... There is a heaven, and it has a skatepark! :-)

    18. E Carlos

      pappas beat tony hawk

    19. RidexOrxPie

Some one show Joe who Peter Sagan is....

    20. Marcus Pacheco

Yo I saw the 1st xgames and the extream games (better) live in Providence when I was a kid. I didn't realize how significant it would be then, but I knew it was the most amazing selection of the coolest sports I'd ever seen. It's was rad, even the setup, it was so extreme they moved a river to make the space for it lol.

    21. John Henry Dale

I remember watching Gleaming the Cube as a 12 year old skate rat in WV - we were so psyched to see Tony Hawk in that movie. Skating in WV (and many other places) in those years was literally illegal and movies like this were so huge for us because there was just zero representation in mainstream media anywhere. Crazy how much times have changed.

    22. Matthew Wilkes

22:40 onwards - might that be Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (or TMS for short)?

    23. Daniel Melby

not a skater, but of course I know who Tony Hawk is. never heard him talk. cool dude.

    24. Night mare

tony hawk is "only 90 kids will remember" in human form

    25. fouoii gyhh

This guy couldn't be more chill if he tried. A true inspiration and for sure a childhood hero of mine. The new ps4 release will be fire 🤩

    26. Maria Diaz

18 minutes in... searching for Jake Brown wipeout.

    27. Groenie

Tony didn't mention how expensive these alternative skate deck materials are, carbon fibre etc. Alternative materials have been tried numerous times, without success and just brushed aside as gimmicks as the prototypes, trucks included, are expensive. Fibre glass has been tried, but the nose and tail, any chips, get razor sharp after use and cut and irritate the skin, they also lose pop quickly. Can you imagine how costly a carbon fibre deck would be? Thin carbon fibre plies are used on some decks but the average skater cant afford this. I think we've stuck with wood all these years as it works.

    28. Chocolate Delux3

I rollerblade but Tony Hawk should mean something to anyone on wheels.

    29. Bike Doctor

Tony Hawk: I git pinned by a big wave and thought it was over. Joe: so, my sauna’s pretty hot.

    30. verde vario 650b

Tony...I found the verde vario 650b

    31. Aldo Sepulveda

When skateboarding traumatisms get compared to boxings

    32. throbbybobby

Joe: "I was sitting around in March, thinking this will be over in a month. We'll have a financial hit but move on quickly." Didn't you have Michael Osterholm on the podcast in March? He told you multiple times that this would be 12-18 months.

    33. paulj0557

    38. jayy mulaa

I remember playin all his games mayne such good times 💯

This is so hard to watch. I love JRE and I respect Tony and I knew Tony would have to explain everything to Rogan and try not to be condescending.. but this is strenuous

    40. Liv4z28s

You need Travis Pastrana after this!

    41. TinFoil Overlord

joe and tony look like drug heads after 20 years of crack.

    42. Eric Lessner

Great interview! I dig Tony's single Alfalfa hair.

    43. Brandon De Vore

Hope this alpha brain shit works, Post concussive syndrome sucks.

    44. Caladestine I

Tony and Rodney Mullen are the only 2 skaters I know, both legends in their own right

TONY HAWK, Is a very cool guy took my nephew to a skateboard show at. Universal City Walk. I remember because I was carrying him on my shoulder's. I'm disabled in a wheelchair anyway Tony Walking around with his kid and we bumped into each other. I thought O-shit I broke his ankle and he thought he hurt me. 🤣🤣 LOL long story short. He signed my nephew's board and made his day... A great guy...

      1. Cassie

This is one of the best Rogan podcasts I've seen. Tony Hawk is an inspiration!

    50. James Reynolds

Joe "you can do some great shit in the pool" Rogan lol :P

    51. Arcus103

Tony Hawk is a cool dude.

    52. Thomas Jefferson

This is so insightful. Tony you’re a great guy!

    53. Baylen Miller

Joe’s worst interview in the history of interviews, maybe ever (100% bc of joe). That’s Tony Hawk, have some respect & do your research b4 the episode

      1. kristian ze

right he just seems weird and out of place totally not like him and he has this weird face and vibe some people commented it's a 100$M vibe, but tony's so cool he takes it for what it is positively

    54. ` Obliviate

Where's the dude with the timestamps? lol

    55. regular_dude

Tony just seems like a cool ass dude. I'm not even into skateboarding outside of the occasional highlight clip, but this is really interesting.

    56. Guy Face

Please try to get Rodney Mullen on the show. It seems like he doesn't like publicity or attention but he has an amazing mind and has invented almost everything that most skateboarders do today. P.S. i fucking love your show

    57. pistol pete

Good shit watched the whole almost 2 hour video with no pause

    58. Mitchell Martinez Jr

You are the first person someone thinks of when they think skate and doesnt skate. You're a legend Tony Hawk!

    59. DLF

The Tony Hawks of the world must be treated for the gems they're.

    60. Neferin

We're stopping obesity by building parks... That's heavy...

    61. Christian Medrano

      Proud San Diegan 🤙

    62. ghost615

I feel like we're in a weird time where only middle-aged people know who Tony Hawk is. Senior citizens have no clue who he is and also kids today probably have no idea who he is. But to anyone in their 30s and 40s, he's a god, lol.

      1. Samuel Mead

        20s too

    63. Cody Batt

I was a teenager skating every day in 1990-1994 and we despised Tony Hawk. Sell out, old school, vert clown. He wasn't wrong about that.. He's a good human. So glad that he represents the sport. Skaters are (were?) often closed minded idiots, or maybe that's just teenagers in general :)

    64. Jacob Zug

This is one of the best Rogan podcasts I've seen. Tony Hawk is an inspiration!

    65. Brandon Gallo

Joe should have Rodney Mullen on for an interview.

      1. Joanna

Is it me or are they goin back n forth with each other? , throwin shots and shit.

    66. Jose Rodrigues

Not a single cuss word from Tony. Learned alot from him in this episode. Nicely done. 👍

    67. erik Bender

I remember the Hawk editor , he was good. !. Steve Hawk

      1. Joanna

Joe "do you ever read the comments" Rogan

    68. Cathal King

      1. Cathal King

    74. Pratheek Burkhard

He now looks like the younger brother of bill gates

      1. That Should Work

        a good look tbh

    75. skatetolive45

Hes proved himself to be a skater's skater for decades on end now- whether or not he's "your thing" doesn't apply- trust that. And this Pappas shit is pathetic- the Pappas fans are the worst. The Pappas were era skaters, epoch skaters in a small window of time that they helped define- thats it. They were better athletes than they were skaters- period. "all this mayhem" should have been named all this whining and bitching. Try the 80s dirt poor inner city living- we all lived thru it nobody cares- if I never hear the name Pappas again id be thrilled- theyve really sullied their own name as skaters in my opinion, and their equally skulky fans are the nail in the coffin on the whole 900 thing

    76. Treign Rex

Hot DAMN! This is the podcast my 43 yr old ass needed. Bones Brigade, Vision Streetwear, Vans holy shit, the time machine is real. Love you Tony. You are the Babe Ruth / Mike Jordan of skating. FUCKING LEGEND!

    77. zijuiy wttuy

I asked my 11 & 12 year olds if they knew Tony Hawk. When they said no I called them nerds.

      1. MrNuts70

Good Job! They are nerds to not know him hahahaha

    78. micksss engyzzz

Joe rogan better be a secret skater on thps Remake special moves like 'have you ever tried dmt?'

    79. Andrew Belcher

Btw the guy Joe is talking about with the weird skateboard at the beginning is Matt Tomasello, I don't know about it being a social media thing but it is a big featured of the Fancy Lad videos which are amazing. Everyone should check them out they are great and very underrated!

    80. Maze Gang

I like how joe Rohan compares Ethiopia to Atlanta 😤😤😤🙇🏾‍♂️

      1. zijuiy wttuy

I'd love to see Geoff Rowley, Koston, Gonz, Danny Way or Tyshawn Jones
